Rhinoplasty Case #23

Dr. Richard Rival rhinoplasty in toronto on female

Cosmetic Facial Surgeon: Dr. Richard Rival

Procedures Performed: Rhinoplasty

This young woman felt that her nose was too large for her face. She scheduled a consultation with Dr. Rival to learn more about the different options for rhinoplasty in Toronto to minimize her nasal hump and correct the “droopy” look of her nose tip.

In his consultations, Dr. Rival takes advantage of state-of-the-art computer imaging software to allow his patients to see the kinds of results they can expect, before they decide on surgery. This imaging software allows him to use a photo of you so that you can tell whether a given procedure would balance well with your face as a whole. The imaging process also helps patients express their goals clearly, which helps ensure that you will be happy with your results.

In this patient’s procedure Dr. Rival reduced the size of the nasal hump. To correct a “droopy” nose tip, he performed a tip rotation procedure, which adjusts the soft tissues at the nose tip in order to improve the angle between the lip and the nose.

The patient was very happy to find that her results met her expectations and created a very pleasing, balanced look. Her nose job in Toronto helped minimize the nose’s size without creating that pinched “worked-on” look that patients want to avoid. The result is an attractive, very natural curve that fits with her face and emphasizes the eyes and mouth rather than the nose.
