Rhinoplasty Case #52
Cosmetic Facial Surgeon: Dr. Richard Rival
Procedures Performed: Rhinoplasty & Rhinoplasty Revision
This young man visited Dr. Richard Rival for a revision rhinoplasty consultation in Toronto. The patient had previous rhinoplasty elsewhere and had some nasal trauma in the past. His nose deviated and internally he had a major deviation of his septum blocking his breathing passage. He had a persistent bump on the lower part of the bridge. The tip was very over projected with a long excessive show of the nostrils.
Dr. Rival performed an external rhinoplasty to straighten the nose and improve his breathing. The post-operative photos now show the nose is straight. The tip has been set back and the nostrils reduced. The bump on the lower part of the bridge is now gone.
