Rhinoplasty Case #52
Cosmetic Facial Surgeon: Dr. Richard Rival
Procedures Performed: Rhinoplasty & Rhinoplasty Revision
This young man visited Dr. Richard Rival for a revision rhinoplasty consultation in Toronto. The patient had previous rhinoplasty elsewhere and had some nasal trauma in the past. His nose was deviated and internally he had a major deviation of his septum blocking his breathing passage. He had a persistent bump on the lower part of the bridge. The tip was very over projected with long excessive show of the nostrils.
Dr. Rival performed an external rhinoplasty to straighten the nose and improve his breathing. The post operative photos now show the nose is straight. The tip has been set back and the nostrils reduced. The bump on the lower part of the bridge is now gone.
